BLASTS FROM THE PAST–DO THEY LAST?

Lately my former classmates

Are inviting me to participate…

A new chance to join

That old gang of “moin”

From forty years ago before it’s too late.

I really don’t have a clue

Why they would include me too…

Perhaps common suffering

Of those times are buffering

In all the years since we’ve been through!

In my heart I think I know

It’s cruel to make them wait so…

What I failed to see

Is that they like me,

And need another brother to show.
