CELEBRATION TIME….COME ON!!!!!!

My first wedding to the man I fell in love with on the first day of

college was held on 7/8/78. This was a wonderful, spiritual and

mystical day for me. I was ever so happy to be marrying someone

that I believed would be forever.

Being creative and partly a “hippie” I came up with a theme of

rainbows. I would carry a bouquet of flowers “reflecting the many

colors and beauty of my friendships.” I held a bouquet with all the

colors that my five bridesmaids chose to wear. They all had the

same pattern of dress, in a spring green, lilac, peach, pastel blue,

and pink. They held bouquets that had white roses, daisies and

baby carnations.

It was a lovely day, filled with many guests who have since passed

on. The wedding napkins were spread with care, along the edge
