Just as snow’s falling on this blog page,

Occasional flurries presage…

This weekend’s blow

Of mounting snow,

With varying forecasts gauged.

Most say four-to-twelve

In our area, inches delved…

What’s given by God

A diviner’s rod

Won’t always be able to tell.

–

Going home tonight I’ll get some milk,

We’re out of it, our ilk…

Is to have some for coffee,

Pudding and toffee

That taste pretty good, smooth as silk.
