To “friends” why I’ve refrained…

Few seem to be caring,

For them is it properly framed?

Certain favorites–I wonder–

Should I explain my blunder…

I can’t implore,

Not allowed any more,

My business has gone under!

My favorite work redhead

Explained it when she said…

It’s not by feeling–

Just a business dealing–

She accepted it as she said.

But still I want to explain,

A final ego gesture of the vain…?

I’m ordered to not,

Despite feelings I’ve got,

I poured my chances down the drain!
