FASHION IS FABRIC AND STYLE

(Image courtesy Carmen, of the Fashion with Compassion blog)

Fashion is fabric and style,

Especially wearing a smile…

Accessories

Like bangles to please,

Its wearers  and worth their while!

Simple to complex patterns,

And how tight a fit all matters…

A casual bust

Mostly untrussed,

Older convention shatters.

Included is arrangement of hair,

Interesting beauty here…

Curls or long flowing

A woman’s style showing,

Through good impressions there!

THERE’S PRETTY–A PROFESSIONAL SMILE

PHOTO OF DEMI MONDE…FROM HER BLOGS FASHION LOOK BOOK.

A pretty womanly smile,

Concedes professional guile…

All that I’m saying

Is that she’s playing

A role for photographic style!

Some models always frown,

About the job they seem so down…

Being hot goods

Without smiling, who would,

Want to meet her for a while?

THIS MODEL’s both happy and proud,

When a gaggle of girls settle down…

Modeling advice

From one e’er so nice,

We’re glad having her around!

STRANGER THINGS…

Stranger outcomes happen,

When opportunity’s tapping,

Wanting in

And you begin

Writing ideas you’re trapping!

He’s written ’bout Christ and trains–

Weather seems worth one’s pains….

Fashion poems are new

As something to do,

And the challenge takes working brains!

I’d say it is channeling energy,

Most of which has left me….

Shapes and sizes

And stylish surmises,

Still need a bard’s entrée.

“An eye for the women.” one said,

Focusing on their clothes instead..

“Clothes make the man”

And women, and can

Leave little more to be said!

YET–a poet describes,

Details that emanate vibes…

Along a track

That likes feedback,

Both positive and wise!

DE-EMPHASIZING “ASSETS”

Howbeit a man,

Explaining how best he can…

Techniques using clothes

To camouflage those,

Two parts that entice a man?

What I’ve  in fashion blogs learned,

Is that certain strategies discerned….

Are mighty effective

Distracting deceptive,

Respect in their eyes earned!

Denying men their prayers,

Dress in effective layers…

A blazer disrupts

Sight down and up,

Hiding those detail betrayers!

Mesmerizing pattern on dresses,

Sometimes OVER-STRESSES…

Shape and size

Of what man’s eyes,

Like about these dresses.

Better irregular colors,

Make observing eyes dullard…

Takes the whole dress

His attention arrest,

Focus is somewhat cluttered!

Looser blouses suggest,

Mystery that’s best…

Wear them tight

And you’ve no right

to complain about his interest!

Cardigan and ponchos in layers,

Are also good girl watcher slayers…

Not sure where

“You are” in there,

Less interesting then, for stares!

If she “goes without”

Be certain nothing pokes out…

Wear a T shirt

As a liner won’t hurt,

Or with heavier fabric, no doubt!

A WOMAN OF NOBLE CHARACTER–WHO CAN FIND?

Noble women to find,

I have several in mind…

Not all bloggers

But certainly loggers

Of thoughts and actions kind!

TAKING CARE OF ONESELF

Maintaining  figure and health,

Is better than much wealth…

A hot blouse and skirt

Worn wouldn’t hurt,

One needn’t show beauty by stealth!

We older–not in our teens–

Make do with our current means…

Elder models are few

Making me blue,

We could use as much direction it seems!

Will Mrs. “C.” do cosplay?

(A POLITICAL LIMERICK POEM—SATIRICAL FORM)

Cosplay—the playing of parts,

Dressed-up  in costumes d’arts…

Resistance she claims

She’s in with the dames,

Who want Trump cut into parts!

Will she in her cosplay, dress,

As a female Che  Guevera, I guess…..

A camo “two piece”

Would shock at least,

Her lovely hair a mess.

THINGS I COULD SAY

Thinking of things to say,

Supplying wit for the day…

Virility fades–

Less interest in maids,

Expecting youth to stay?

Trying hard being witty,

I’s harder to write a ditty…

Generational ties

Slip in my eyes,

A lot of stuff isn’t dirty!

I think I’ll leave it so,

I found my loving doe…

It’s not the same–

No children to name–

But I love her from her top to her toe!

–Jonathan Caswell

WARM EMBRACING–STAY WARM!

Sunny, clear and cold,

We celebrate as of old…

A warm embrace

Fingers trace

On skin patterns bold!

Hey–romantic ;love,

Being closer than in a glove…

The day we’re telling

Our heart swelling

Is for our turtle dove!

Presents and cupcakes reign,

Romantic foods by design…

Baubles and things

Give love wings,

Or at least that’s the hoped for sign!
