STRANGER THINGS…

Stranger outcomes happen,

When opportunity’s tapping,

Wanting in

And you begin

Writing ideas you’re trapping!

He’s written ’bout Christ and trains–

Weather seems worth one’s pains….

Fashion poems are new

As something to do,

And the challenge takes working brains!

I’d say it is channeling energy,

Most of which has left me….

Shapes and sizes

And stylish surmises,

Still need a bard’s entrĂ©e.

“An eye for the women.” one said,

Focusing on their clothes instead..

“Clothes make the man”

And women, and can

Leave little more to be said!

YET–a poet describes,

Details that emanate vibes…

Along a track

That likes feedback,

Both positive and wise!

A REAL SHOCK I AM?

Finding a nearly-sixty-year-old,

Fashion poet leaves some rather cold…

A shock to see

The  elderly,

Actively trends they behold!

He sin’t always a saint,

But postive pictures he’ll paint…

Good exposure and pride

Knowing someone’s on their side,

Hoping his maleness isn’t a taint!

Again he must balance his views,

Determined to spread good news…

His challenge is to write

Poetic fashion insight,

Though alas, bias for certain styles–skews!

A fan of the button-up blouse,

It’s clean lines he’ll endorse…

Other styles

He compiles,

To show what they are, of course!

TAKES COURAGE AND ENCOURAGEMENT!

It must take courage to pose,

In plain or fancy clothes…

The public eye

(including guys),

In essence the whole world she shows!

More for a purpose than money–

Some responses are  rummy–

Courageous means

Fulfilling fond dreams,

Good reason to flatten that tummy!

Amateurs know whom they are,

Accepting themselves above par…

Not letting shape

Become like red tape,

But showing we all can star!

GOT HIS MEDICINE

One may think the man is fruity,

He needed a good dose of beauty…

Typical male

Where sight prevails,

Socialization and cutie!

Talking with her pleasantly,

Important in remedy…

Of his despair

Her being there,

Totally missed her last time, you see!

Knows to not make waves,

But her friendliness him saves…

Someone to view

And nice to talk to,

When he emerges from caves!

THE BREAST WORKS

Breast works are tactical walls,

Put up against cannon balls,

Temporary

Defense, you see,

Opposing “CHARGE” calls!

His breast works are coming down,

Having too many around…

Defensible

But reprehensible,

Digging up walls unsound!

Moral dilemma unsolved

Has been resolved…

Removing pictures

Not conforming to Scriptures,

Sees many breast works dissolved!

REDHEAD POLICY

Sensitive subject, this,

That REAL women find amiss…

Men coo

At redheads viewed

Or any woman dressed like this!

The point of this conversation

Involves object identification…

How much publishing

By fond wishing,

And how much remembering my education.

Cannot deny the Administrative plan,

Women outnumber men…

As hoped for

The blog tilts more,

Toward female ken.

Yet at times I,

Do wish to comply…

With inner need

Without deed,

To enjoy as a guy.

Fellow bloggers (women)

Say if I look–forgiven–

Not all the time

I do have time (?)

To focus on all topics given!

POET…AFTER (A) FASHION!

He calls himself “fashion poet”,

One or two others know it…

In pursuits

Avoiding lawsuits,

He certainly doesn’t want to blow it!

Him being man and all,

Must carefully judge his call…

With less passion

Than stereotypical fashion,

Not being the Beast at the ball.

Gender matters to him,

Especially if women…

They’re the kind

He most has in mind,

Do they mind if he tiptoes in?

–Jonathan Caswell

DID IT TO HIMSELF—GOOD!

It’s not like he knew he would,

Do it to himself good…

Just that

In a matter of fact,

It’s what he understood.

Knowing his temperament,

He wasn’t quite innocent…

Boundaries

Made safely,

Less chance she’d fear the gent.

He’s saddened by the whole thing,

Knowing his own being…

Trying to place

Her in his space,

One-sided deal not working.

With vigor abated,

It’s easier to stay related…

To his one friend–

His Missus again–

No other targets anticipated!

EXODUS 20: 3-5 A POEM

Have no other gods before Him,

Not even by innocent whim…

It’s suicidal

To worship an idol,

Walking on ice very thin.

So periodically

He must sort his files to see…

What grabs his heart–

With that he must part,

‘Tis better than hypocrisy!

Culling out accumulations

Of any conflagrations,,,

That hold him fast

He will cast,

Out for sanctification.

FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE POT!

Offered a small bowl of soup,

From a friend going home to regroup…

Sudden hors d’oeurves

A friend observes,

Is a flavor of good repute!
