HATS, SASHES AND CULTURE

We all like to dress up,

Some more–some less there, bub…

Culturally

Influences are free,

For the fashionable to snap up!

A woman uses a base bland,

Combined with something grand…

To exude flair–

That savoir faire–

Her style is in demand!

Caps and sashes culture,

A vision of worldly demure…

Softer sides

Of wonder world-wide,

A hit at the party for sure!

HE’S SWEET ON SOMEONE

HE’S SWEET ON SOMEONE

His is emotionally

Attached to someone he sees…

Willingness per view

Is nothing new,

For years, near-automatically!

He doesn’t dare name names,

To much risk that doing so shames….

Him and /or her

Better, as it were,

Keep on with his excuses lame.

In honest reality,

He’s sweet on nearly all he sees…

That are of a mind

Both open and kind,

A give-and-take mentality.

Certain ones do catch his eye,

Reveal…he won’t even try…

Suffice to say

Some blow him away,

But he’d be lost without his “Di.”

(His wife’s nickname)

DEDICATED TO  eh, MANY kind souls…FOXY FEMALES ALL!  😀

WANTED…CLOSE COMMUNICATING!

WANTED CLOSE COMMUNICATING!

The problem was both had hurts,

Committed by trousers and skirts…

Commitment to trust

Gathered rust,

Both thought the other curt.

Walls and grudges build

Despite commitments to yield…

Many a marriage

Is disparaged,

By combat in the field.

Obvious one doesn’t understand,

The other’s health demands…

One bends over,

The other takes over

And pushes one into badlands.

The verbose one wonders why

The silent one won’t try

to open

As they’re hoping,

To fill them in bye-and-bye.

The silent one’s thoughts run sarcastic,

The other one listens to drastic…

And half the time

Is not so inclined,

They both fall into that basket!

THE GUY WHO LOST IT…

THE GUY WHO LOST IT…

The guy who recently “lost it”,

Whose manhood is not a threat…

Still has a brain that functions–

He hasn’t  lost  all of it yet!

He likes the luscious looking,

Faves he has in fact…

Commenting he won’t be brooking

But is less likely to act.

His compliments of people

He keeps closer to the chest…

Experience in business climates

He does what is best.

HONKIE HAIKU

HONKIE HAIKU

(i’S A WHITE FOLK!)

His poor heart is crushed

She doesn’t say much when rushed….

His chances are mush!

“SLINGING SLANG”

Hispanic…gringo,

Nipponese…round eyes,

On the streets…HEY, YOU!

THE GUARD WHO WOULD TEACH ENGLISH!

THE GUARD WHO WOULD TEACH ENGLISH

(Instead  of being king..per Rudyard Kipling!)

The tutor likes his poetry,

Asking to use occasionally…

But he jumps the gun

Offering some

To a pupil for its meaning to see.

This working Japanese adult,

Finds English somewhat difficult…

The guard enlisted

Education which assisted,

This gentleman to work the thing out!

Among some very big words,

Was respect for cultures we’ve heard…

Pronouncing names

Won’t bring any shame,

The employee is shown their worth!
