POET…AFTER (A) FASHION!

He calls himself “fashion poet”,

One or two others know it…

In pursuits

Avoiding lawsuits,

He certainly doesn’t want to blow it!

Him being man and all,

Must carefully judge his call…

With less passion

Than stereotypical fashion,

Not being the Beast at the ball.

Gender matters to him,

Especially if women…

They’re the kind

He most has in mind,

Do they mind if he tiptoes in?

RAIL, NOT NAIL, CLIPPERS

This modeler became chipper,

Receiving a new rail clipper…

Now his joints there

Were reasonably square,

Gandy dancers didn’t snicker.

When testing his track found a glitch,

Replaced the oldest train switch…

Threw it away

In the garbage to stay?

New track kept trains from the ditch!

Rebuilt the long run-around,

Whose rail joints were now sound…

Good symmetry

From track brands (three-?),

No rail cars hit the ground.

Those huge rough-soldered leads,

Of wires to rail have needs…

Alternative means

Or file them down clean,

Then soon we start planting fake weeds!

<3 JOANNE <3

ā¤Ā Ā Ā  JOANNEĀ Ā Ā  ā¤

Putting it very succinctly,

Joanne inĀ our eyes is distinctly…

A treasure to see

While we happily,

Visit her office meekly.

In fashion that’s the best,

In professional confidence rests…

Her cheery manner

With not a complainer,

Or any of which we’ll attest!

Blessed by her children dear,

We’re blessed by her presence here…

Those of us taken,

Loyalties unshaken

Would make our affection of her clear!

We hope this Valentine will do,

We sure do appreciate you…!

CHOSEN BY GOD–NOW GROW!

CHOSEN BY GOD–NOW GROW!

(Ephesians 1: 1-6; 15-23)

Open my eyes, oh Lord Most High,

That I see and comprehend…

All the SpiritĀ  found in Thy Word–

The Wisdom that has no end.

Brothers and sisters praying for me,

Uplifting me through prayer…

That I may see and practice–

Avoiding demonic snare!

Shepherd and under-shepherd both,

Ply Christ Jesus’ troth,

His Body–His Bride–

The Church might abide

In the mind of Christ with growth.

Strengthen then your resolve,

To ask Spirit’s help to see…

All God’s wonder, power and mercy

And with the same, treating me!

If forceful men and women

Can hoodwink the American news crowd…

And not challenged for their deception,

We humble ourselves–not Proud.

If they can’t see through veiling,

How then can we…

Except humble asking for wisdom

From our Father God in eternity?

If only…the Christians would rise up–

If only they believed for sure…

That Christ, God’s Son, gave us Power

In His Spirit to do and endure!

PIPPIN…I UNDERSTAND!

PIPPIN…I UNDERSTAND!

PIPPIN, a play on Broadway,

A musical, had much to say…

About wanting life

Beyond house and wife,

The ultimaye thrill foray!

In the end he chooses not death,

A deadly stunt for last breath…

Is left on bare stage,

Two kids, wife, arrayed

In skivvies…all he has left.

In a small way, I understand,

It’s exciting in faerie lands…

My train layout

Once worked out,

Concedes to real demands.

I can’t extend that-away,

To the floor it is a long way…

Gotta choose carefully

The right industries,

The right combination for “play”.

Embarrassed by sudden wealth,

I am beside myself…

At most maybe two

Or three engines do

With the rest staged upon a shelf!

As for my life, it’s grand,

Subject to the Lord’s command…

His love falls like dew

Every day is brand new,

Even PIPPIN would see mine as grand.
