STRANGER THINGS…

Stranger outcomes happen,

When opportunity’s tapping,

Wanting in

And you begin

Writing ideas you’re trapping!

He’s written ’bout Christ and trains–

Weather seems worth one’s pains….

Fashion poems are new

As something to do,

And the challenge takes working brains!

I’d say it is channeling energy,

Most of which has left me….

Shapes and sizes

And stylish surmises,

Still need a bard’s entrée.

“An eye for the women.” one said,

Focusing on their clothes instead..

“Clothes make the man”

And women, and can

Leave little more to be said!

YET–a poet describes,

Details that emanate vibes…

Along a track

That likes feedback,

Both positive and wise!

POET…AFTER (A) FASHION!

He calls himself “fashion poet”,

One or two others know it…

In pursuits

Avoiding lawsuits,

He certainly doesn’t want to blow it!

Him being man and all,

Must carefully judge his call…

With less passion

Than stereotypical fashion,

Not being the Beast at the ball.

Gender matters to him,

Especially if women…

They’re the kind

He most has in mind,

Do they mind if he tiptoes in?

<3 JOANNE <3

❤    JOANNE    ❤

Putting it very succinctly,

Joanne in our eyes is distinctly…

A treasure to see

While we happily,

Visit her office meekly.

In fashion that’s the best,

In professional confidence rests…

Her cheery manner

With not a complainer,

Or any of which we’ll attest!

Blessed by her children dear,

We’re blessed by her presence here…

Those of us taken,

Loyalties unshaken

Would make our affection of her clear!

We hope this Valentine will do,

We sure do appreciate you…!

FOND MEMORIES OF A PENCIL SKIRT

FOND MEMORIES OF A PENCIL SKIRT

The teacher was harsh but fair,

Slim-built with lots of air…

Yelling corrections

And behavioral directions,

Some kids hated her there.

But he was a growing teen

Who had his teenager dreams…

But not in class

He had to act fast

If caught not attentive to the theme!

He would never reveal,

Thoughts and daydreams concealed…

He held a crush

For this teacher–a brush

With death if it were unsealed!

Her blouse and tops were trim

And seemed near-perfect to him…

She wore pencil skirts,

His eyes rarely hurt,

Except in a longing so dim.

SLIGHTLY-SLIT PENCIL SKIRT

SLIGHTLY-SLIT PENCIL SKIRT

The woman though he was staring,

He was—at wht’s she’s wearing—

A grey pencil skirt

So lovely it hurt,

His behavior, though, was glaring.

PENCIL SKIRT

PENCIL SKIRT

On the tight side with a nice blouse

A pencil skirt’s worth every ounce…

Taken in

So the guys grin,

And for you will leave the house.

Slim and trim and tight,

With a good blouse you’ll be dressed right…

The eyes and “ahs”

Your way the applause

Shows you beautiful and bright.
