To its nature blue…

Made of rock–

Sturdy stock=–

It never  no never boo-hoos!

Unlike the “comedienne,

Who’s turned herself into “victim”…

Self responsibility

Is unconscionably,

Denied by her or him!

–

Now a lawyer she seeks,

Someone else must pay her lost “ekes”

She did the act–

No one “made her”, in fact–

Most of us see through her pitiful squeaks!

It’s time for this child to grow up,

As one wag said–MAN UP!…

You’ve gone too far

With behavior bizarre,

With morals you’ve proven corrupt.

Greed and avarice fires…

Dressed up nice

But cold as ice,

Does she care about what transpires?

Often idols are kept

Away from those who have wept…

A picture that’s true

Reality, will it do?

For those whose souls have left?

Women dressed up and admired,

No control over what transpired….

Men use romance

Justifying advance,

After brutally acquired.

Earth Day parties shared it all…

Consciences seared,

The movement’s gone weird,

The way they left things appalled!

Put trash out the night before

Helps strong winds litter more…

Why people do

Clean up after you,

You don’t pay enough for the chore!

Immaturity

And absurdity

This white poet grieves

With an angry young man who sees…

Little attention

Given to mentioned

Leaders in Black histories.

–

The media seems to ignore

Contributions made before…

Making short shrift

Of history’s gift,

Black leaders who came to the fore.

–

This poet studied college

Historic Blacks, the knowledge…

Of whom valued

Knowledge renewed,

Yearly could be acknowledged.

–

But what can one man do,

News media wants the new…

Our Black President,

White House resident,

The only Black leader to view?

–

Are there other Black leaders out there,

Currently for whom we could care…

Who charge to the fore,

Making more

Progress that Blacks may share?

–

Glories all from the past,

Those great leaders will last…

These great  minds–

Do we inherit in kind–

Other folks of similar cast?

ME-TV and others, I guess,

Playing old favorite

Specials–we’ll savor it–

And turn off the modern mess!

I know my accent is funny,

But answers I get are rummy…

“No pain,” I say–

Take some anyway–

The pain will make you jumpy.

–

Came home to a situation,

So many on dish assignation….

No one will ask

How we do the task,

Just add more complication!

–

And when you DO ASK they follow

Systems they don’t want to swallow…

We’ll do it OUR WAY

Or else we won’t play,

Do it all yourself tomorrow.

–

Look a gift horse in the mouth,

It’s like you’re throwing them out…

You need the help

So stifle the yelp,

Or be left alone in your “ouch.”

–

It must feel great looking down

With “compassion” on those around…

You show your caring

By your victims’ despairing

That anything they remember be found!

The Bible’s Genesis 1:1,

Tells how this world begun…

Word of God

And the Garden He trod,

Are not stories, human-spun.

–

Believe in the Pre-Deluge,

Genesis 1:1 becomes huge…

Faulter here

And faith won’t be there,

By faith you must choose.

–

Either the thing’s true,

Or liars have conquered you…

We cannot choose

Which parts to lose,

Disagree at this point and we’re through!

Dwells on human situation…

Reading other tomes

Rarely leaving home,

Suffices for a science fascination.

Enjoyed watching Doctor Carl Sagan,

Who brought home cosmology’s bacon…

He’s now dead and gone

But his programs go on,

With his human-logic operations.

–

Pretty pictures, far out theories,

Just right for a P.B.S. series…

All this theory

Makes the eyes bleary,

Too much sensationalism wearies!
