He calls himself “fashion poet”,
One or two others know it…
In pursuits
Avoiding lawsuits,
He certainly doesn’t want to blow it!

Him being man and all,
Must carefully judge his call…
With less passion
Than stereotypical fashion,
Not being the Beast at the ball.

Especially if women…
They’re the kind
He most has in mind,
Do they mind if he tiptoes in?

Th eye doctor has a jewel
Called Sarah with an “H”…
A redhead I remember from last year
Who has many positive traits!

Her folks from Lancaster county, PA,
And she lived up near Cooperstown..
She knows on the map where Binghamton is,
All places I’ve been around.
–
Found out that she likes poetry
and was willing to take a look…
At a blog (this one!) she just learned about
And on Thursday, she’ll receive my book.

How pleasant she is–professional too–
Shifting patients with caring and grace…
I’d be honored to be under her care
When next I visit the place!

PEOPLE-WATCHING DELIGHT!

A number of folk I know,
Are busy with scant time to slow…
Which for me is fine,
‘Cause I see in kind
A delightful humanity flow.

Some days are harfer than others
For sons, daughters, fathers and mothers…
Just a quip
On the outward trip,
And I perceive their druthers.
–
Not much time for discussion
As most of the time they’re rushing…
To escape for the day
And relax some way,
Take a nap on a fluffy cushion?
–
I’ve learned to stay out of the way,
They won’t run me over, so I say…
Behind the desk
It’s a safer task
To rejoice with their end of the day!
