TEN SENTENCE LOVE POEM CHALLENGE

THANKS TO http://poeticparfait.com/, for nominating me for this Challenge!  I am to write an ode to Love in 10 (ten) sentences and then nominate ten more bloggers, challenging them to do the same.  This Challenge does not have a medallion or picture of its own–pick one (if any) that fits–sort of fits?–your ten sentences.

My ten sentences are entitled:

HOME GROWN OVER TIME

At first love seems all about just you.

Some folks never grow from this point of view!

Mom and Dad are the only volunteers.

Training you for years.

Their example influences what you’ll do.

Growing up, we learn manipulation.

The other sex is subject to speculation.

Love’s a committed decision.

Unaffected by vision.

Commitment to companionship–our salvation.

BEWARE UNFORTUNATE FINGERING!

BEWARE UNFORTUNATE FINGERING!

Keyboarding is a challenge

For an older fingering feat…

Pressing ALT or CTRL unknowingly,

Hasten a blogger’s defeat.

Those fat flying fingers, notorious

They are for hitting wrong keys…

Don’t expect “Spell-check” to save you,

With words that may cut off your knees.

Oh, spell-check is great for sounds-alike,

And similar-meaning words…

Don’t automatically assume its choices are right

Or you may end up with funny-sounding verbs!

Unfortunate fingering takes time to screen

So edit your own adventures…

Please don’t come to me to bail you out,

I’ve got my own mistakes to cure!
