SOMEHOW…GOD KNOWS
Whenever I find myself “short” or in need,
Somehow my Lord God knows…
And in His timing my answer will speed
Through which His mercy shows.

Sometimes it’s mercy to deny my request,
Of someone to pull me astray…
My Lord I trust to know what is best
And maturing until His Day.
–
When I tend to worry He takes control
Suggesting what to do…
He can be trusted to keep safe your soul,
I recommend Him to you!

NOTHING LIKE AN “ANGEL”

There’s nothing like an angel
Who stops by with treats,
Appearing at the doorway
With a bagful of good eats…
We take your saltless tater chips
They suit us just fine,
Just pass along your “healthy stuff”
We’ll be the next in line!

We met a living angel
At our apartment door,
He claimed he wasn’t ‘tother one
Who had dropped by before…
Who graciously left pasta
When we were in hard times,
But this one had a smile so big
His heart had sim’lar lines!
–
We bless him for his graciousness
And thanks unto our Lord,
Who sends by various “angels”
When we need hope restored…
So thankful for the angels
He sends by our way,
Whether they have two legs or four
They brighten up our day! 🙂

A cousin (or someone) has paid
So phone reconnection’s not delayed…
Out of the blue,
God’s work is true

RUBBING HOLES
Doggies have holes they dig for bones,
Burying them everywhere…
When he is nervous he rubs a spot
Until it is skinless there.

Sometimes his knee or leg will do,
Fingernails often chewed down…
Can’t pull his hair, it’s nearly gone too,
In drink he no longer will drown.
–
His struggle in living is to believe
Continually that God has in hand…
All of his coming and going out,
Provision for life at hand.
