MY FINAL WORDS…MAYBE…FOR THIS YEAR!
The year doesn’t end today,
But the wife and I are driving away…
To her mountains to see
Her loved family,
Tomorrow should be the day!
–
On the thirtieth and thirty-first
Of December my job is rehearsed…
Returned from our bolt
And economic jolt,
We might be dining on liverwurst!
(The wife hates it–I can stand it fresh for a sandwich or two!)
–
Whatever our lot, we wish you well,
I’m resting my fingers a spell…
I’ll see you in a week,
We’ll be up near North Creek
Listening to a distant church bell.
Have a Merry Christmas….Happy Holidays….the quintessential Kwanza!?!
