HE HAS A DECISION

He has a decision to make,

For their blessing’s sake…

Stuck in holes

As boulder o’er rolls,

The bottom of what they can take!

Options there are but two,

Change or continue…

In present course

As things go worse,

Or agree with what’s known as true?

Faith is a curious thing,

Active by listening…

Then obey

Starting today,

Supply what’s missing.

NOW THAT I’VE FOUND THEM…!

He recently hesitated

Giving time to the younger as stated…

He’s found one or two

Older women viewed,

Wants to emphasize he’s already mated!

Admiring pant suits and dresses,

He’s not after romantic stresses…

But sincerely

He’s looking to see,

Style in clothes and tresses!

I wonder if  women stand

Fashion poetry by a man…

A man who looks

For narrative hooks,

Sometimes upon demand?

TRAIN MODELING INSPIRATION

TRAIN MODELING INSPIRATION

Watching model trains switch with sound,

On video may compound….

Conflicts about noise

And neighborly choice,

Not wanting by volume drown!

RE-ENGINEERING DREAMS

RE-ENGINEERING DREAMS

Got thinking last night while wide awake,

About fulfilling of dreams…

Sometimes it is strange the paths we take

In engineering schemes.

I have a bedside train set,

That doesn’t run a bit…

I spend time working on the track

And want to then change it!

Shifting buildings, track and trains,

Not making the thing run…

Makes me wonder about the pains

It takes to get something done.

Now…POETRY…is not the same,

It springs at times like weeds…

It doesn’t take a technical brain

To satisfy one’s needs.

I’ll keep working on the trains,

Some day I’ll see the light….

Of a running train at last

Before I say, “good night”.
