Couldn’t sleep—what a shame–
Had playtime to reclaim…
Three or more tries
Under night skies,
But with a clearer brain!

He completed reconnecting
Both spur and runaround track connecting….
All rail joiners fit
He was done with it,
Couldn’t test with the power pack defecting!

Musical power packs,
Changing over to power tracks…
When he’s done
both layouts’ll run,
He’ll go on to more creative acts!

Little plastic ties on the floor,
‘Though I don’t lay track anymore…
Little railroad ties
Make me realize
It doesn’t take much for a sore.

My loving wife reminded me
She wanted a train under tree…
Last year I had worked
For that very perk,
So maybe this year it will be.

I got the circular table
To lay the track on, if able…
The curve will be tight
By Christmas night,
We’ll have the train run by the stable!

This model railroad
Construction film showed,
A creative great attitude.

By classical music and jazz,
He’s working with friends that he has…
To his design,
A definite sign
That modeling’s an enjoyable task.

His wife got in the show,
Being an asset who knows…
How to please her man
Doing what she can
To help the railroad grow.

Its inspiration’s Canadian,
And the building is circadian…
Fifteen feet of track every day,
Nine film parts, by the way,
He’s built a fine model train stadium!
