HOW DO YOU PUT UP WITH IT?

(from an egocentric poet)

HOW DO YOU PUT UP WITH IT,

Move on to another “follow”…

The same thing for years on end

Is more than many swallow.

Do blogger friends run screaming–

It isn’t all about you…

Though if one gets bored enough

Someone  else will do!

We folks in transition

Rarely are satisfied…

If we claim we are happy

Then we–at times–have lied.

SOME DO…MOVE ON!

SOME DO…MOVE ON!

A loyal churchman wondered

Why his was torn asunder…

One Pastor left

And they were bereft

Why so many moved, he wondered?

He wanted to condemn

The resulting mayhem…

Some may be true

But people must do

Whatever makes sense to them.

Bloggers leave all the time,

Perhaps on commercial climb…

Or get tired–

Uninspired–

Needing a chance to rewind.

Overall technical stress

Brought Ron DuBour and I, to WORD PRESS…

His FACEBOOK keeps going

While mine is slowing,

I focus on THIS address!

Inner needs we don’t know

Convince people to go…

Then, fare thee well,

You’re changing…do tell..

Moving to continue to grow!  🙂

DARIA’S LAST DAY

DARIA’S LAST DAY

All sorts of feelings betrayed,

For Daria’s final day…

She found benefits

In full-time pursuits,

But does it by going away!

Of course, having her rent to pay,

She needed a more lucritive way…

To satisfy needs

We all will agree,

We’re “glad” it’s her final day.

She says she’ll come back to visit,

And bless us with friendship exquisite…

It will be a winner

To have her for dinner

I’d jump at the chance  any minute!  🙂

A QUESTION OF HOW AND WHY

A QUESTION OF HOW AND WHY

Bitterness breeds around the edge

Of what seems no more…

Trying to make things work only

Makes a person sore.

Soreness rises with the thought

Of what no more may be…

Without having great expense

And severe penalty!

Questions rise unanswered,

But for consistent “noes”…

Hopes alive must be shed

Like worn out clothes.
