Beginning his shift,
People see what he’s missed…
With big yawns
Falls asleep and he’s gone,
That is the gist!

Making the best of his time,
Dabbling in furtive rhyme…
Struggling and taking
Into account his shaking,
As long as he’s inclined!

Nodding off for the exitting crowd,
This will be a three-cup night…
Regretting coffee makers aren’t readily formed
Coffee machines down several flights!

Refilled from a thermos our next cup poured,
Heat loss cools this down…
The machines use instant servings-worth stored
Until a new cup plops down!

Munching popcorn does just so much,
We need “high-test-flowing” veins…
Eating slower one’s fullness ensures
Unpleasant to chew spent coffee grains!

Between two travel mugs,
Three cups-worth have we to spare…
Coffee in various states
And flavors (at this point don’t care).

Being hungry and find
You’ve lost track of time,
Prepare to eat something first!
