SIMPLE BUT ELEGANT WAYS

Image : hapatime–STALKING STYLE WILL NEVER ENDS

Simple sheer-like pink and black,

Certainly have no lack…

Of modesty

And mystery,

Watching a woman flower!

Delicate pink satin top,

Pencil skirt can traffic stop…

At least guys’

Appreciative eyes,

Care less for how she is cropped.

Ladies see that it’s cool,

Stylish and makes men  school…

Pretty in pink

A  girl likes to think,

Professional-looking cool!

PRETTY AS A PICTURE

Is that a cowl neck I see,

This sweater fits her to a “T”…

A classy belt

Accentuates her svelt

Portions, lovely to see!

This sweater—a camel cream?

Allied with a pencil dress dream…

Opposites attract

Results here distract,

As a wonderfully  well-designed scheme.

An business woman ideal,

Her male colleagues—take a chill–

Notebook at her side

Sunglasses hide,

Reactions to compliment overkill.

WAS THAT GINGHAM?

WAS THAT GINGHAM?

Today he saw a nice dress

Of small checks that impressed…

Dark blue mini-squares

On white also there,

Familiar, yet rarely expressed.

A blogger wore a slim pencil skirt,

This material looked very pert…

Combined with a top

For which traffic would stop,

It was a wonderful flirt.

The women serving FRIENDLY’S ICE CREAM,

Used to wear uniforms…a gingham dream..

For a pubescent boy

Considerably coy,

But his Mother would invade his scene!

Gingham…usually seen in Western

Movies in which women dressed…

In what they could afford

Riding on a buckboard,

Those women–the young ones–looked the best.

So gingham—the boy’s old friend—

Has come back in style again…

A pencil skirt sharp

In gingham, hear a harp

Sweetly playing music in each hem!

NOTE:  the Poet is not really a fashion  critic…more of a fashion encourager!

PENCIL SKIRT

PENCIL SKIRT

On the tight side with a nice blouse

A pencil skirt’s worth every ounce…

Taken in

So the guys grin,

And for you will leave the house.

Slim and trim and tight,

With a good blouse you’ll be dressed right…

The eyes and “ahs”

Your way the applause

Shows you beautiful and bright.
