SANGUINE SATURDAY NIGHT

The sanguine watches TV with her tea,

While Melancholic writes his poetry…

They both were tired after the house party

And both dozed off a while.

–

Sanguine cherishes WONDER WOMAN,

On “ME-TV” Saturday she’s coming…

Melancholic may make it for STAR TREK–

“Honey, give me just a sec.”

–

Darkness reigns after eight o’clock,

The Poet keeps from writing crock…

Pretty soon the apartment door will lock

And they’ll both be in for the night.
