SOME NIGHTS…

 

Some nights he gets so tired,

He cannot sleep at all…

Trying to do what will not work

And frustration starts to call.

–

He finds himself between clean sheets

And cannot sleep a wink…

Better to get up and read,

Than stop what he must think.

–

Finally he goes to sleep

Approaching morning light…

What he’s done he cannot say,

To make it through the night.
