PROMISES, PROMISES!

The rain’s finally started

After threatening thunders and clouds…

So many tried to avoid it,

Getting out before the crowds.

He shut off the sprinklers early

Because it had started to rain…

No need  being in a hurry

To water the lawns again.

–

Those winds had blown so wildly before,

It felt like the storm would come soon…

But waited until the wind calmed down

In New England it’s hard to assume…!
