JESUS WEEPS.

JESUS WEEPS…!

(An opinion piece)

For all the children eaten,

For all His people beaten…

At least they’ll see

Eternity

Away from life so fleeting.

Those who sit by,

Should hear the tortured cry…

Of a god and his raiders,

Hateful invaders,

Who make victims want to die!

“Progressives” who don’t care a whit,

Yawn saying “get on with it”…

So we can win

Not looking at sin,

“That doesn’t bother us one bit.”

They call themselves upright,

But that won’t wash tonight…

Jesus weeps

While a ruler keeps

His vacation schedule tight.

T’AIN’T ANY GOOD IF WE CAN’T SHARE!

T’AIN’T ANY GOOD IF WE CAN’T SHARE!

(Political opinion)

The President and Congress

Aren’t affected by their caused mess…

Like nobility

Shielded from pee,

By taking the little people’s best.

This “righteous” royal class,

Gives for us not a one day’s pass…

They won’t abide by laws

But their own, for scofflaws,

Systematic pomposity is crass!

Even “good ones” hide behind

Special privileges that blind…

Them to our plight,

They “try” what’s right

But only respond in kind.

Very few there consider friend,

Is it time for another up-end?

I doubt it will happen.

Too many folks lapping

From the hog trough of power-pretend.

WHY WOULD A LOVING GOD PERMIT…???

WHY WOULD A LOVING GOD PERMIT…???

A Christian recently

Asked this question of me…

He had no answer

For shootings or cancer,

That others had asked ceaselessly.

I promised I would try,

With God’s help to reply…

We each have a voice

In our lives and a choice,

To live for Him or “I”.

If God wanted, He could have got,

Some attention from a programmed robot…

But love is in choosing,

Not coerced accusing

So He gave us the choice from the start.

Some things are not chosen, like menses,

But every choice has consequences…

When His wisdom is rejected

A different consequence is selected,

Determined by past/present tenses!

God wants His children to run

Toward Him, but He won’t force anyone…

As a Father he waits

Until we appreciate,

All the blessings He will do for those who come.

Some folks talk about a loving God,

But their vision of Him is really odd…

They want to be pampered,

Left in diapers to scamper

Around with an adult bod.

In life, we have suffering and pain,

No one totally understands what we gain…

But those who have matured

And life’s hardship endured,

Know better how to love, all the same.

Now I’m not saying anything new,

Would a bride want a groom acting as though he were two?

Our parents may want to shield

Us from the worst that life deals,

But one grows by living it through.

Is God still loving–He surely is,

He’ll use even bad times for His kids…*

To grow up and mature,

In faith greatly endure…

Everyone faces suffering as Christ did.

For this is a fallen world,

That into, every one of us is hurled…

Will you suffer angrily

Or submit to Deity,

Facing life as a child of God, as it’s unfurled?

 *Romans 8:28

TRIBULATION IS COMING

TRIBULATION IS COMING

Do you know in your heart

Whom you can trust…

At suffering’s start,

Who won’t your feelings bust?

I’ve been daydreaming

About a certain friend

From another religion…

How will our friendship end?

If his group is then majority

Will I be fed to the wolves…

Or will he somehow stand up straight

And we both be summarily culled?

I pray for my wife and me

That we would stand up strong…

She’d prefer to go in the Rapture,

If we can live that long.

Paul the Apostle warned all

Marrieds to expect stress….

We’ve through a few

Episodes, not less!

Christ had knowledge of all men

No one had enough faith…

In the final throes of this world

Only God will make sure a soul’s safe!
