Cool and generously-lined…
Made of material
Often ethereal,
A cool breeze we don’t mind!

Catching or blocking the breeze…
No one wants to sweat
All the time, I’d bet,
And donned in comparable ease.

Don’t want to complain my friends,
But New England weather tends…
To often be
Full of variety,
Whatever the overcast sends.

This morning we started with rain,
Snow flakes and sleet once again…
Often all three
In waves like the sea,
The morning a dreary refrain.

It stopped in the afternoon,
The sunlight made its way out soon…
Our roads will have dried
By my midnight ride,
Any black ice well-lit by the moon!
