LAYING IN BED CONSIDERING

(1st Kings 19: 11-13)

How many are Your mysteries, Lord,

Counting every single one…

How many breaths yet will I take

Before my life has run?

–

The Lord answered not this time,

These questions asked…

But pointed him to understand

He wasn’t through with his task.

–

I will lead and guide you,

The Lord said in His way…

The only thing of which to be concerned

Is the next coming day!

–

Take your stand upon the mountain,

Listen for the still, small voice…

Then you’ll know that you are through

And I’ve chosen My next choice.

–

Until then be ready,

I’ll address you as My man…

Day by day I’ll display

Your role in MY Plan!
